All government schools in Victoria have school councils. They are legally formed bodies that are given powers to set the key directions of a school. These committees are run by a Convenor (member of school council) and all parents are invited to attend. Each committee plays a vital role in the activities, maintenance, and fundraising efforts throughout the year.
